Jolien Noels

I am an economist working at the intersection of finance and climate change.

Currently, I work at the OECD, where my research and policy work focuses on aligning finance with climate goals (please find a summary of our work here). I also contribute to the NGFS Expert Network on Data. In a previous role at the OECD, I researched the impacts of the net-zero transition on firm competitiveness and regional development.

Previously, I worked for the Transition Pathway Initiative (at the London School of Economics’ Grantham Research Institute) where I analysed companies’ preparedness to transition to a low-carbon economy. Investors use this research as a tool for climate action.
